Therapeutic Services

I offer individual therapy to adults. I bring the ability to deeply hear the narratives clients are living, and create a therapeutic environment where healing and transformation become possible.

I specialize in the areas of complex trauma, perfectionism, anti-racism, identity development, disordered eating, love addiction, codependency, and anxiety. I focus on treating clients struggling with the effects of marginalization and those with adoptive and/or foster narratives. I also enjoy helping with self-discovery, identity development, grief/loss, and parenting.

With depth psychology, multicultural feminism, psychodynamics, polyvagal theory, mindfulness-based approaches, relational-cultural theory, existential therapy, and other creative approaches, I help clients sift through conditioning and their relationship with self to develop and claim a life lived in authenticity and true, embodied power.

My approach to trauma combines polyvagal, depth, accelerated resolution therapy, attachment work, mindfulness, and ACT. In session, we work to develop a relationship with yourself that builds secure attachment within and encourages healing in the nervous system. I employ an active approach in sessions, joining clients in their process of personal transformation.

As a person with both privileged and oppressed identities and someone with diverse life experiences, I find meaning in helping others navigate this world that brings confusion, frustration, and pain; but also richness, joy, and resilience. My life journey combined with a multicultural feminist lens humbles and empowers me to hold space for others.

After working in the field of counseling for over 15 years, I am still deeply fulfilled in this meaningful work. Each person is an unfolding mystery. It is an honor to be a part of the process. I have experience with white anti-racism, depth psychology, consciousness development, self-compassion, and embodiment. I look forward to meeting you!
